The working principle of the pallet flow rack is based on the FIFO (first in, first out) principle. The pallets slide gently on roller conveyors on the principle of gravity from the loading (feeding) side to the unloading (unloading) side.
The rollers are placed on cassettes usually with a slope of 4%.
Loading and unloading is done from different sides of the rack.
Since the FIFO principle is applied, inventory control of perishable goods or short products can be easily carried out.
The only limitation on the depth, height and width of the pallet flow rack is the size of the warehouse and the lift height of the pallet handling machine.
